Lora Campbell

My name is Lora Campbell and I am a fully qualified photographer, based in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

I have had an interest in photography from a young age and in my late teens I developed an equal love for travel where I was able to combine my two interests. I have spent several years working and exploring different cities and resorts and decided three years ago to further develop my skills and turn my interest into a career so I embarked on an academic journey where I  completed a BA Commercial Photography at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen.

For me, photography ignites  a passion for exploring the world and the complexities within it. My work explores a variety of photography genres and combines them to showcase the beauty of different destinations around the globe.

My goal through photography is to express my interpretation of the world around me and share these experiences with others. I want my images to tell a story and to evoke an emotion by using ‘real’ images to capture the authenticity of each place.

With classical influences such as Ansel Adams and Henri-Cartier Bresson to more current travel photographers such as Peter Lik and Steve McCurry, I want my images, like theirs, to leave a lasting impression on those who view them.
